Question: What’s your secret ‘main character’ trait?”
My secret main-character trait is that I’m literally always planning my next outfit. Fashion is one of my favorite forms of creativity because it gives me space to explore who I am and how I show up in the world. I’ll happily wake up a little earlier just to dress to the nines for no reason other than because I can. Having a good outfit on gives me that extra push to get to class, stay on campus, and actually feel energized throughout the day. And honestly the compliments definitely don’t hurt.

This year, I have been setting times each night where I stop doing homework to unwind and watch a show. This one measure of control over my day reminds me that, no matter what, I have an hour to myself to look forward to.

I’m definitely trying to organize my time to be as optimal as possible, while making sure I dedicate a day each week to myself. Sundays are my weekly reset where I take the day for self care, deep cleaning, planning my week, and having enough time to reset my social battery.

What’s one thing you’re doing to pour into yourself this semester?”
This semester I have been listening to my body more and giving myself breaks so I can properly function. For instance, I have a rule that I can’t do work while I eat, so I unwind by watching a show or scrolling on my phone.
